Veteran owned business with 17 years of experience.

Although Montana will always be the childhood stomping ground for Tom, he has had the privilege of living in many states throughout his life – Colorado, New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut and California. Tom had the unique privilege of serving in the US Navy on the USS San Juan SSN-751 (a nuclear fast attack submarine) as an electronics technician and quality assurance inspector and again with the US Army where he served as an infantryman deploying to Iraq in 2004 with Charlie Company (3/172d Infantry, Mountain). Tom has also earned his bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management, graduating cum laude from Colorado Christian University.

Tom has been a professional full-time home inspector for more than 17 years and has a vast background from kitchen remodeling, roofing, concrete flatwork and residential electrical systems. Tom is licensed in Tennessee, fully certified by ASHI (the American Society of Home Inspectors), InterNACHI and EDI (Exterior Design Institute).

When not working with clients, Tom likes to bow hunt, spending time with his family, has his General class ham radio license (HF is his passion), devours history books (both fiction and historical fiction) and works on his small hobby farm raising dairy goats and chickens. Tom also remains active in physical security training and church security planning having been a security director of a medium sized church in the past. Tom and his wife Tamara have adopted twice internationally (Hungary and Latvia) and are licensed foster parents and active in the foster community in Tennessee.

At 3 Arrows I strive to build strong long-term business relationships with each of our clients and referral partners. Without genuine and mutually beneficial relationships we are left adrift in a sea of self-gratification. Business doesn’t have to be a “me or thee” mentality! I believe the motivational leader Zig Ziglar said it best, “Success is in the doing, not the getting; in the trying, not the triumph.” I like to try and leave every party involved in the transaction better off for having worked with my company.

From communicating about the best time for your appointment, to answering questions and concerns you have about your report, scheduling follow-ups and more, my goal is to provide you a stress free experience. Buying a home is stressful enough as it is – so my goal is to make things as easy as possible. I always like to say, that if you aren’t getting the answers you need – ask different questions or ask different PEOPLE! I’m always here for my clients and look forward to serving them for years to come.

My objective as an inspector is to have you walk away from the inspection knowing the strong and weak points of the property, being aware of exactly what it is that you are about to buy with no last-minute surprises. At 3 Arrows I leverage technology to get the most accurate view of what is going on. I use DJI drones for complex roof systems, infrared cameras to look deeper into a property helping to find hidden water leaks or overheating electrical components and I use state-of-the-art Spectora inspection software to efficiently and conveniently communicate my findings. I also appreciate the “old school” approach and still offer printed inspection reports onsite as well – at no additional charge. I want to give you the knowledge necessary to make a fully informed decision.

Tom is very accomplished and has excelled throughout both his military and civilian careers. He has extensive construction and remodeling experience that includes everything from roofing, concrete work, framing and carpentry, professional kitchen installation, plumbing and drain systems along with a wealth of electrical experience.
